Last weekend was an amazing one – 3 full days of web analytics activities in Manila. We arrived on Friday 1045 am, after an hour of driving and a quick lunch of pancakes and egg we proceeded to prepare for Philippine’s first ever freelancer fair in Manila.
Saturday started early with us arriving at the venue about 0645 am to prepare our “table” for the Freelancers Fair. By 9 am the crowd started streaming in for the different workshop tracks. We met many interesting visitors ranging from freelancers new to the industry to veteran looking at upgrading their skill set.
True to our analytics spirit our web analytics master – Arun invited visitors to attempt “the world’s toughest web analytics quiz”. Many had a fun time trying but eventually requested for the answers, we rewarded them with Hershey chocolate.
The following day on Sunday we conducted the popular associate training class, despite the short notice given on Saturday at the fair we had a handful of signups. Some attendees already have prior knowledge of Google analytics but find our class valuable as we show them how to use GA tactically within the analytical framework. Time flew very quickly as we ended the class at 5 pm and leave for the airport. Touch down at Changi Terminal 2 at 0145 am Monday.
